Biography
Vini Cavalieri, born in 1985 in Jacarepaguá, in the western zone of Rio de Janeiro, is a multidisciplinary artist whose creative journey began early. From the age of 12, he dedicated himself to music, playing percussion instruments and becoming a professional percussionist. Additionally, he explored his artistic vein through visual arts, expressing himself by painting canvases.
After a solid education in Business Administration and Performing Arts, Vini found his true passion in Theater courses, where he discovered his artistic calling. Over a decade of studies and practices in the arts, he honed his skills at renowned institutions such as CAL, Cesgranrio, and EAWM. His quest for excellence led him to Los Angeles, where he had the opportunity to experience the theatrical scene firsthand, attending public open classes at the prestigious Stella Adler Academy.
The early years of his career were marked by his dedication to theater, culminating in two Best Actor awards at the Short Scene Festival (2019/22). However, his passion for acting also led him to the audiovisual world. He participated in various projects, including the French feature film ‘Kali’ by Julien Seri (Amazon Prime Vídeo) and Globo TV soap operas like ‘Travessia,’ ‘Vai na Fé,’ and ‘Terra e Paixão.’ Moreover, his roles in the web series ‘Cafetão,’ directed by Igor Rodrigues, and in two short films by Renê Belmonte stand out. More recently, he joined the cast of the feature film ‘Eulália,’ again directed by Igor Rodrigues, and contributed to several streaming projects. Vini played the character Martim in the web series “América,” which was nominated at the Rio Web Festival, reaching the top 3 in acting and receiving an “Honorable Mention.”
Vini Cavalieri now splits his time between Lisbon (Portugal) and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). With bases in both cities, he continues to expand his artistic horizons and seek new opportunities to grow in the cultural scene.
