Biography

Vini Cavalieri was born in 1985 in Jacarepaguá, in the western part of Rio de Janeiro. He has been playing percussion instruments since he was 12 and is now a professional musician; he has also developed his artistic side through the visual arts by painting. He holds degrees in English and French, Business Administration, and Performing Arts from EAWM, with stints at CAL and a Bachelor’s degree in Theater from Cesgranrio (on leave). In his ever-growing pursuit of excellence, he attended classes open to the public at the Stella Adler School in Los Angeles in 2016. In 2025, he starred in the feature film “Temporada de Bônus” (to be released), directed by Felipe Joffilly; in 2024, he joined the cast of the French film “KALI” (Amazon Prime Video), directed by Julien Seri. He has appeared in Globo soap operas such as “Travessia,” “Vai na Fé,” and “Terra e Paixão.” In addition to his role in the feature film “Eulália,” he was part of the cast in the second season of the web series “Cafetão,” directed by Igor Moreira. Vini also played the character Martim in the web series “América,” which was nominated at the Rio Web Festival, reaching the top 3 for acting and receiving an “Honorable Mention.” With several short films by screenwriter Renê Belmonte and two Best Actor awards (2019/22) at the Nathália Timberg Theater Short Scenes Festival, Vini Cavalieri now divides his time between Brazil and Portugal, expanding his career in the European market.
